This certified weed free garden compost is made from local cow manure. It is rich with humates and microbes. You may ask yourself, what are humates and microbes and how can they help my garden? According to yardlover.com, humates help aerate the soil, improve water retention and help plants get more nutrients from the soil. Microbes create all the good nutirents that plants need like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, just to name a few (University of Wisconsin). Our compost has been used in a variety of local buisnisses including the “U-Pick Red Barn” pumpkin patch by Tauphus Park, Walker Ag. In Osgood and many homeowners. It is ideal for potting soil, planing rose gardens, trees, lawns and vegetable gardens.
